Food, Cloth and Stay

“Some stays in a hut and cottage,
And some stays at bungalow and palace.

We think that everybody stay at homes,
But there are many who just have roads.

People are surrounded with there dearest one,
But there are humans around who have no one.

We look for designers and run for brands to wear,
But few have limited cloths and few have nothing to wear.

Public enjoys different cuisine of various countries,
But few people just do not have food to eat within all countries.

I would like to say everybody, to cherish every moment of life,
Be thankful to God for what you have in life,
Help to helpless people, Become hope to hopeless people,
And earn respect for your own life.”

About the picture by Anshul Rohilla :

It was end of August 2014, when I got the opportunity to photograph the Dargah of one of the world’s most famous Sufi saint, Nizamuddin Auliya. It was my first visit to the place as a photographer with all the access and permissions to shoot. Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is a beautiful complex with many historic buildings, structures, roads, markets, food stalls, dormitories and people from all religions praying as one. The main building is a beautiful blend of Indo Islamic architecture where rests the tombs of many famous personalities of the past.

Nizamuddin Dargah also serves free food and shelter to stay, which attracts many poor and helpless people. Above picture is a photograph of one such poor old man with nothing in his hand but just a hope to get some free food and shelter to stay at Dargah.
